wpspeedopt is a two-person WordPress performance team from Belgrade. 1,000+ sites optimized since 2012, from local businesses to a four-country banking group.
How we work.
Everything starts with measurement. Before touching a site we establish where it actually stands: field Core Web Vitals, server response, asset weight, plugin overhead. Changes go to a staging environment first, get tested there, then ship to production. After launch we watch the real-world data for 28 days, the way Google Search Console validates it, and fix what regresses.
We have been doing this for over a decade, on everything from local business sites to a four-country banking group. The common thread is not heroic one-off tricks. It is caching done right, critical CSS, sane image pipelines, and someone watching the scoreboard after launch day.
The road here.
Before freelancing, Milan spent over a decade as a system administrator and web developer at a Belgrade software company, running a domain of 65 users and 10+ servers, plus the Linux and Nginx infrastructure behind its web apps. That is why the work here does not stop at the WordPress dashboard: PHP-FPM pools, Nginx configs, MariaDB tuning, and Cloudflare are all part of the toolkit. Since 2012, speed is the only thing on the menu: freelancing on Upwork since 2014, then from 2019 as white-label optimizer for US agency iMark Interactive — 650+ WordPress sites in that program alone (646 site passes, 635 unique) — alongside work for agencies and site owners directly through wpspeedopt.
